Position: Quality and Accreditation (RN) Manager

Job Status: Full Time; Monday - Friday, occasional weekend

Required Skills:

• Self-motivated, critical thinker with initiative and ability to proactively identify opportunities and take action
• Highly organized with the ability to handle simultaneous multiple assignments and frequent interruptions
• Must be able to collaborate with various teams to implement quality initiatives and address quality-related concerns
• Responsible for the development of departmental policies, procedures, goals, and objectives
• Responsible for DNV hospital compliance and coordinating accreditation activities to enhance the quality of patient care
• Responsible for ensuring that the requirements of the quality management system are implemented and maintained; planning, implementing, and managing quality improvement
• Responsible for leadership of the internal audit program to assess compliance with quality standards and identify areas for improvement
• Responsible for tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying trends, and implementing corrective actions to address any issues
• Responsible for promoting a culture of quality and continuous improvement
• Acts as occasional RN supervisor in long term care
• Assists Infection Preventionist with data collection and reporting

Qualifications:

• Three to five years of experience in a healthcare setting with exposure to quality management or accreditation standards
• RN license (in good standing for the State of Michigan)
