QC Inspector - API Valve Experience

TruBlu HR Solutions is currently seeking a Quality Control (QC) Inspector with a minimum of 2 years of experience in valve manufacturing or a similar industry. This role requires a detail-oriented professional to inspect and verify that all manufactured parts meet engineering specifications and industry standards, with a focus on API valves.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.

• Inspect manufactured parts and final products to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.

• Verify documentation and ensure all job-related paperwork is complete and accurate.

• Ensure products meet applicable API valve standards, including API 600, 602, 6D, 608, and corresponding pressure ratings.

• Document inspection results and non-conformances clearly and accurately.

• Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve any discrepancies or issues.

• Maintain records in accordance with internal quality procedures and external compliance requirements.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of QC inspection experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with valves.

• Strong understanding of API standards, including API 600, 602, 6D, and 608.

• Experience with AutoCAD for reading and verifying engineering drawings.

• Knowledge of pressure ratings, valve types, and material specifications.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and inspection documents.

• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and written communication.

Skills:

• Familiarity with ISO quality systems.

• Previous experience inspecting API 6A or 16C products is a plus.

• Basic understanding of measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.).
