Must be able to work with foremen and supervisors. Bilingual abilities in Spanish , but not required. Ability to recognize weld defects, areas of improvement, and other weaknesses in all products at Smith Industries LLC. Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule.

Some, but not all of the primary work duties are as follows:

• Assures the quality of all materials, structures, components of all types of pressure vessels and tanks, is maintained throughout the production process.
• Verifies that all vessels, tanks, and other product lines comply with all relevant quality standards and regulations (i.e. ASME and API, etc).
• Verifies materials, parts and final products through independent checks and inspections.
• Assists in defining a QA/QC program that meets the full scope of all regulatory requirements.
• Maintains and documents all Quality Control inspections and findings on travelers and QC Inspection sheets.
