QC Inspector-1st shift
Job DescriptionJob DescriptionStaff Up is seeking a skilled Quality Control Inspector in Houston TX 77007!Pay $19HR8AM-5PM Monday to Friday +overtimeDuties and Responsibilities:
- Performs inspections of purchased parts, subassemblies or finished company products
- (REQUIRED) Uses measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, gages, optical inspection and computerized inspection devices as needed
- Rejects and returns nonconforming materials and/or products that do not meet applicable specifications and requirements
- Documents inspection results by completing applicable inspection reports and logs
- Participates in quality control/assurance related activities
- Participates in performance improvement activities, utilizes resources efficiently and effectively takes responsibility for own learning needs
Required Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Pre-employment Background check and drug test required
- 1-3 years of previous work experience in a QC inspector position
- Must have a working knowledge of measuring instruments
- Ability to articulate clearly, professionally, and effectively
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Ability to tug, pull or lift up to fifty (50) pounds
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
- Frequent to constant use of their hands and fingers, to handle or feel, and to manipulate in a variety of different body positions or postures
