Job DescriptionJob Descriptionjob summary:

• The successful candidate must have strong computer skills and a fundamental understanding of how to interpret chemical analytical test results for a wide variety of products using primarily Chromatography techniques. These analyses are in support of production activities including Photochromic Dyes and OLED materials. Applicant must be a self-starter capable of independent work in a quality controlled environment with high attention to detail.

responsibilities:

• Timely preparation and submission of analytical samples for incoming raw materials, in-process batches and finished goods
• Tabulation and interpretation of analytical test data
• Liaison between production groups and QC Test Lab.
• Raw material and batch approval to established specifications
• Reporting and communication of batch dispositions
• Participation in root cause investigations and problem solving activities
• Support Quality Management System Activities
• Develop personally and professionally through work experience and by acquisition of new skills as determined by the expanding needs of the position.

qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related field

• Experience in quantitative analysis of HPLC, UPLC and GC techniques
• Quality Control or Quality Assurance experience
