QA/QC Piping Inspector
Here at Earthstream we currently have an exciting opportunity for a Piping QA/QC Engineer to join one of Europe's fastest growing lithium-ion battery manufacturers. They require your expertise immediately on the construction of one of their gigafactories.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop and maintain Project Quality Plans for the different projects.
- Stablish and Implement effective quality management to support project activities.
- Set up and develop QAQC procedures, ITP, report KPIs and support project activities with EPC contractors
- Monitor Hydrostatic and Pneumatic test packs for incorporation into as-built dossiers
- Ensuring quality assurance of all work scopes is maintained and all work is performed in accordance with company policies and the Health & Safety at work act.
- Arranging and executing system walk-downs and recording punch items on CDE.
- Attend the weekly QA/QC, and commissioning meetings
- Takes the lead on resolving all Non-conformance Reports (NCR's)
- Monitor and ensure NDT requirements are met.
- Complete site walk-downs and report back on installations complete.
- Ensuring quality assurance of all work scopes is maintained and all work is performed in accordance with company policies and the Health & Safety at work act.
- Consider the implications of delays in QC as-built turnover documentation and bring to the attention of the site QC manager
- Working closely with MEP teams for system closeout.
- Laise with Document control for approved Quality documents.
Requirements:
- BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Welding Engineering Certification also desirable.
- +10 Years' experience in a QA/QC Piping lead role
- CSWIP Level 3.1 qualified (essential)
- ISO 9001:2015 (Added advantage), Lead Auditor or Auditor certification.
- Used to work with European Norms and European standards, EN 13480, EN 12201, EN ISO 15607, EN ISO 15609-1, EN ISO 15614-1, EN 288.3, EN 287.1
- Piping Prefabrication and Fabrication experience on Austenitic, Ni alloys ,Carbon steel and Aluminium.
- Piping Test Pack coordination experience.
- Knowledge of weld measurement techniques and equipment
- In depth technical experience and knowledge in welding, including development and implementation of weld procedures.
- Experience and knowledge on PED 2014/68/EU and CE marking PED 97/23/CE is a must.
