QA QC Engineer â Structural Steel (On Site)

We are seeking a highly skilled QA/QC Engineer Structural Steel to join our Dubai team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in bridge projects and a solid background in structural steel fabrication erection and inspection. A valid UAE Driving License is mandatory for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain the projects Quality Management System in compliance with company client and regulatory requirements.

• Review interpret and ensure compliance with project specifications drawings and relevant standards for structural steel works.

• Conduct inspections and tests on incoming materials fabricated steel structures and on-site installations.

• Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation including inspection reports test records NCRs and corrective actions.

• Coordinate with project teams clients and third-party inspectors to ensure smooth quality control processes.

• Monitor welding bolting and coating activities to ensure adherence to applicable codes and standards.

• Ensure proper calibration of inspection and testing equipment.

• Provide technical guidance to site teams and subcontractors on quality-related matters.

• Participate in internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of findings.

Qualifications :

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BE).

• 4 8 years of experience in QA/QC for structural steel works specifically in bridge projects.

• Preferred certifications: CSWIP 3.1 AWS CWI NACE BGAS FROCIO.

• UAE experience preferred.

• Own car and valid UAE Driving License (mandatory).

• Strong knowledge of relevant international standards (AWS D1.1 AISC ASTM BS EN ISO).

• Proficient in preparing and reviewing ITPs method statements and material submittals.

• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Additional Information :

A monthly salary of AED 7500/- to 11500/- depending on Experience and interview performance

AED 750/- Fuel Card will be provided
