The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through rigorous testing and a commitment to excellence. Responsibilities * Design, develop, and execute comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases. * Perform thorough manual and automated testing to identify, record, and track defects. * Collaborate closely with software developers and product managers to understand system requirements and ensure high-quality releases. * Analyse test results, document bugs, and provide detailed reports on quality metrics to stakeholders. * Contribute to the continuous improvement of our QA processes, tools, and strategies. * Conduct regression testing when bugs are resolved to ensure solutions are effective. * Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle to advocate for quality. Qualifications * Proven work experience in software quality assurance. * Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. * Hands-on experience with automated testing tools and frameworks. * Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases. * Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting. * A keen eye for detail and excellent problem-solving skills. * Strong verbal and written communication skills. * A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject is preferred. * Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process is highly desirable.
