Duration: 6 Months from Projected Start Date

Work Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (40 Hours/Week)

Position OverviewThe Arizona Department of Economic Security (AZDES) is seeking a Salesforce QA Automation Engineer to support enterprise IT modernization initiatives by leading quality assurance and automation testing for Salesforce-based cloud applications. The role focuses on building scalable automation frameworks, validating Salesforce integrations, supporting CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring high-quality, secure, and compliant Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Public Sector Solutions.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience as a QA Automation Engineer
•  Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data structures, Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce administration 
•  Strong programming experience with Java, JavaScript, Python, or C#
•  Experience creating and maintaining automated test frameworks 
•  Experience with REST/SOAP API testing 
•  Experience with regression, smoke, integration, and end-to-end testing 
•  Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies 

Skills

• Automation Tools: Provar, Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, UTAM, Cypress, Cucumber/BDD 
• API Testing: Postman, RestAssured, SoapUI 
• DevOps & CI/CD: Jira, GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, Copado, AutoRABIT 
•  Salesforce Certified Administrator 
•  Salesforce Certified Development Lifecycle & Deployment Architect (or equivalent Salesforce certifications) 

Important Notes

• Local Arizona candidates only.
• Hybrid schedule: First 2–3 days onsite, then once per month onsite. 
•  Candidates must be local at the time of submission and available for in-person interviews within one week of the posting close date. 
•  Candidates should be able to start within two weeks of receiving an offer.
