QA Automation Engineer (Remote)

ComResource is looking for a QA Automation Engineer.

We need someone to assist in automated ETL testing, developing and executing test frameworks, and supporting quality assurance throughout the SDLC.

Responsibilities:

• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Participate extensively in requirements analysis, design, QA test plan development, defect review, QA results analysis, sprint review, and project planning sessions.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
• Develop, document, and maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts such as test data, data validation scripts, and automated scripts.
• Execute and evaluate automated test cases and report results.
• Perform risk assessments and business requirements validation.
• Investigate bugs and write clear, concise defect reports.
• Monitor, triage, and drive resolution of issues.

Essentials:

• Technical degree or related work experience.
• Experience with automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium with Java or similar).
• Experience building and maintaining automated test frameworks (e.g., Java, Perl).
• Hands-on experience with load testing, integration testing, security testing, and server-side testing.
• Relational database development experience (MySQL, Microsoft SQL, Oracle, etc.).
• Experience with Git version control and CI/CD tools.
• Familiarity with agile development environments.
