ABOUT THE POSITION
Supports all PV & V needs in the field for NPD and CI engineering departments.
Supports NPD prototype machines through the field-testing portion of NPD programs. Manages customer feedback forms for protype testing. Manages and executes all protype field tests.
Supports CI cost reduction and QIT programs and testing that are executed in the field.
PV&V representative in NPD program and CI meetings. Helps to accurately write test plans for all divisions.
Deliverables & Responsibilities
· Must be able to execute test plans accurately
· Aptly use DAQ systems to capture needed data in test plans
· Analyze data captured with DAQ systems to help determine the needed information requested in the test plans
· Must be able to accurately write test plans based on requested information
· Represent PV&V in NPD programs (DEV teams, test matrices, report-out's to PMT and other groups)
· Manages and executes all test plans that will take place in the field
· Helps execute test plans in the shop as needed
· Report out analyzed data to the appropriate parties
· Supports customers operationally with prototypes in the field
· Aptly use all DAQ systems and software
· Report feedback from customers back to appropriate engineering group
· Help to troubleshoot root cause of product issues within QIT, Prototypes and cost reduction programs
To be successful in this role, your experience and competencies are:
· Minimum five (5) years of related experience and/or training required
· Engineering drawing and schematic reading and interpretation skills required
· Experience with Microsoft Office, DEWESoft, PCAN Explorer, Danfoss +Plus One Service tool, Microsoft AX
· Project Management Skills
· Heavy roadbuilding machinery experience and mechanical aptitude
· Ability to speak and present information and data to group of people
· Ability to troubleshoot complex problems
