Arise Homes is a new home builder and developer dedicated to providing beautiful, quality homes at an affordable price point. Join a dynamic and customer-focused team dedicated to helping families find their dream home. As the Purchasing Specialist, you will take ownership of POs for our homesites, ensure accuracy in the system, and assist with obtaining permits and implementing new automated processes. This role will serve our organization with a unifying attitude and mind towards excellence and service. The Purchasing Specialist will have opportunities for both personal and professional growth while working in a fast-paced, dynamic organization.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Represent Arise Homes in a positive and professional manner in and outside of companies.
Purchasing responsibilities:
Create and distribute purchase orders to vendors and trade partners.
Help facilitate the transfer of purchases from invoices to purchase orders.
Keep pricing and vendor information up to date in the ERP software.
Create and revise purchase orders in the ERP system once built out.
Estimating new pricing and products.
Help source and qualify trade and vendor leads.
Systems responsibilities:
Maintain the purchase order system in Homes by inputting products, pricing, templates, quantities, dependencies, etc.
Maintain the options templates and pricing in ERP and ensure their accuracy.
Consistently report pricing changes for budgeting.
Other special projects as assigned for implementation of the ERP software.
Construction system responsibilities:
Submit, track, obtain and upload permits in a timely manner to deliver them within our even flow build process. ensure all contractor and vendor paperwork is up to date (i.e. contract, Form W-9, and certificates of insurance). Maintain these records in an organized manner.
Other miscellaneous duties as necessary.
ABOUT YOU
Good time management and organizational skills.
Proficient computer skills and knowledge of computer systems. Specific working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Good problem solving and planning skills.
Detail oriented to ensure accuracy of information.
Motivated, self-directed and can operate within proper guidelines.
Good communication and interpersonal skills to work with staff, vendors, and trade partners.
Positive attitude and professional demeanor.
Be open and prepared to grow professionally within the team as well as the overall company.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP
The Purchasing Specialist reports to the Purchasing Supervisor.

JOB HOURS
This is a full-time position. Between the hours of 8:00am 5:00pm Monday through Friday.
