Seeking an experienced Purchasing Agent with a strong manufacturing background to manage all purchasing activities, working closely with planners, supply chain, and shipping/receiving.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee purchasing operations from quote through delivery and invoicing.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and lead times with vendors and government suppliers.
  • Manage long-lead materials and coordinate with production and planning teams.
  • Resolve supplier issues, maintain vendor relationships, and ensure compliance with ITAR and quality standards.
  • Support cost control and process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of purchasing experience in manufacturing or aerospace.
  • Knowledge of MRP systems, government contracts, and procurement policies.
  • Strong negotiation, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • U.S. or lawful permanent (ITAR requirement).
