Job Description

A leading international organisation is strengthening its procurement function and is looking for an experienced Purchasing Manager to support business leaders and drive sourcing initiatives across its German operations.

Your responsibilities:

• Act as the key contact for procurement-related topics across multiple categories
• Partner with leadership teams to align sourcing strategy with business goals
• Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies to drive efficiency and performance
• Lead supplier negotiations and secure favorable terms and contracts
• Build strong supplier relationships and continuously evaluate performance
• Identify opportunities for cost optimization and process improvement
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement procurement projects and best practices

Your profile:

• 5+ years’ experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or a comparable role
• Strong background in supplier management, sourcing strategy, and negotiation
• Proven ability to influence and build strong relationships with senior stakeholders
• Analytical and detail-oriented, with excellent communication skills in German and English
• Willingness to travel occasionally
• Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field
