Procurement Manager\n\nConfidential Manufacturing & FMCG Business | Doncaster\n\nA well-established and fast-growing FMCG manufacturing business is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join its senior supply chain function. This is a high-profile role offering broad responsibility across procurement, supplier management, commercial negotiations, and strategic supply chain improvement.\n\nWorking closely with the Procurement & Supply Chain Director, the successful candidate will take ownership of supplier relationships, procurement budgets, and cost optimisation initiatives, while supporting operational performance across the wider business.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nYou will have full accountability for both an indirect and direct procurement for this medium sized enterprise in Lincolnshire.\nManage and develop relationships with a broad external supplier base, including raw materials, packaging, third-party products and operational service providers\nLead supplier negotiations to secure competitive pricing, service levels and contractual terms\nIdentify, evaluate and onboard new suppliers to support business growth and continuity\nTake ownership of procurement budgets, reporting performance and market trends to senior leadership\nWork collaboratively with operations, planning, sales and marketing teams to support inventory optimisation and service delivery (S&OP)\nDrive continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives across the supply chain\nSupport new product development activity, including sourcing and material trials\nManage and develop an Assistant Buyer\nContribute as part of the wider senior management and crisis management teams \n\nCandidate Profile\n\nThe successful candidate will demonstrate:\nPrevious buying or procurement management experience within an FMCG environment\nStrong commercial acumen and negotiation capability\nExcellent analytical, organisational and project management skills\nAdvanced Excel capability\nStrong stakeholder management and communication skills\nThe ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment\nExperience within food or drink manufacturing would be advantageous \n\nWhat's on Offer\n\nOpportunity to join a growing and ambitious manufacturing business\nBroad strategic and operational remit\nSenior stakeholder exposure\nCollaborative and values-driven culture\n£55,000 and benefits package\nFor a confidential discussion about this opportunity, please apply directly or contact the retained consultant for further information
