Simplex Homes, a leader in Modular Home Construction, is seeking a Purchasing Manager.  Knowledge of building materials along with residential and light commercial construction is a plus.  Will train a positive candidate for this position.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

• Perform take offs from sales orders and blueprints
• Prepare and issue purchase orders
• Direct and manage subordinates
• Negotiate pricing

Skills:

• Strong leadership capabilities
• Ability to read blueprints
• Knowledge of Excel, Word
• Strong ability to communicate with other departments
• Familiarity with inventory management
