Condux Tesmec is seeking a proactive and organized Purchasing Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple tasks efficiently, with a focus on purchasing management and auxiliary support to sales and service departments. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively to ensure smooth business operations.

The Company sells equipment for the installation of Overhead & Underground Transmission & Distribution Powerlines in US & Canada. We are a small local company, part of a worldwide group active in design, manufacturing and sales of products, technologies and integrated solutions for the construction, maintenance and efficiency of infrastructures related to the transport and distribution of energy, data and material.
The product portfolio consists of stringing equipment: machines such as puller & puller-tensioner, reel stands, reel winders, pulling rope, blocks and tools.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Purchasing & Vendor Management:
- Order Processing: Review and process material requirements planning (MRP) transactions to create accurate purchase orders (POs) and job orders.
- Vendor Management: Research and onboard new vendors while maintaining relationships with existing ones.
- Delivery Coordination: Track and manage deliveries of POs and jobs to ensure on-time delivery and accuracy.
- Inventory & Pricing: Review, complete, and update the engineering change notice (ECN) list for all new and existing inventory part numbers. Update pricing and coding in Syteline and Salesforce as required.
- General Administration:
- Documentation: Analyze and coordinate end-of-day orders and shipping documents to comply with ISO processes.
- Communication: Serve as a key point of contact for customers and staff, providing updates on material delivery expectations.
- Shipping Assistance: Provide backup support to the shipping department as needed.
- Reception of incoming visitors.
- Sales Department Support:
- Quote Assistance: Provide support to our outside and internal sales staff by assisting with quotes and managing sales opportunities.
- Invoicing: Coordinate and submit monthly invoice listings to the accounting department for month-end recording
- After-Sales and Service Support:
- Order Entry: Assist the after-sales staff by accurately entering orders for spare parts and service activities.
- Track and monitor orders to ensure on-time delivery to our customers.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Vendor, purchasing, receiving and job/work order experience.
- Tariff code knowledge.
- Proven experience in an administrative or office support role.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in software like Syteline and Salesforce is highly .
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with ISO processes and documentation is a plus.
Education and Experience:
- Degree in related field .
- Experience in office administration or similar role.
- Experience with Salesforce and Syteline .
