Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to join the team! As the Purchasing Manager, you will be creating and implementing strategies in our purchasing process to increase savings, reduce cost, and improve efficiency. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of purchasing procedures and contracts, has strong interpersonal skills, and has strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to reduce costs and increase savings
  • Develop and implement management strategies, policies, and procedures
  • Manage a team of buying agents, providing mentorship and support as needed
  • Create short and long-term goals for your department
  • Work closely with other departments, including sales and marketing, to ensure needs are being met

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience with purchasing, managing inventory, and creating policies and procedures around purchasing
  • Deep knowledge of contracts and negotiations within the scope of corporate purchasing
  • Experience managing a team
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
