A Purchasing Inventory Coordinator manages the procurement of goods and maintains accurate inventory levels, bridging purchasing and warehouse operations. Key duties include issuing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, conducting cycle counts, reconciling inventory records, and liaising with vendors. They ensure material availability while optimizing stock levels.
Location: Jurupa Valley, Ca Pay rate: $23-$25hr Monday - Friday 7:30am to 4pm
Key Responsibilities
- Purchasing & Procurement: Reviewing purchase requisitions, creating purchase orders, negotiating with vendors, and monitoring contract compliance.
- Inventory Control: Maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting regular cycle counts, reconciling physical stock with database records, and managing inventory levels.
- Receiving & Logistics: Processing incoming shipments, verifying packing slips against orders, inspecting goods for damage, and updating inventory systems.
- Data Management & Reporting: Preparing inventory reports, forecasting needs based on historical data, and updating procurement software.
- Communication: Acting as a liaison between departments (e.g., manufacturing, warehouse) and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and resolve discrepancies.
