Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Purchasing & Inventory Coordinator to manage purchasing activities, monitor inventory levels across multiple warehouses, and support product availability across multiple sales platforms. This role requires strong analytical skills, the ability to work within several ordering systems, and experience coordinating inventory and purchasing operations in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate is proactive, comfortable working with data, and able to manage purchasing through various methods including vendor websites, Excel spreadsheets, and internal software systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor inventory levels across multiple warehouse locations
- Analyze stock trends and forecast purchasing needs to maintain optimal inventory levels
- Create and manage purchase orders for products across multiple sales channels and seller platforms
- Coordinate purchasing activities using:

- Vendor websites/portals
- Excel-based ordering files
- Internal inventory and purchasing systems
- Ensure inventory accuracy and availability to prevent stock shortages or overstock situations
- Track incoming orders and coordinate with vendors regarding delivery schedules and order status
- Maintain accurate purchasing and inventory records
- Work closely with warehouse, operations, and sales teams to support inventory needs
- Identify inventory discrepancies and assist with inventory reconciliation
- Develop and improve purchasing and replenishment processes
- Communicate with suppliers regarding pricing, availability, lead times, and order issues
Qualifications
- Previous experience in purchasing, inventory management, supply chain, or operations
- Strong understanding of inventory control and stock management
- Experience managing inventory across multiple warehouse locations
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets and Excel formulas
- Experience using ERP, inventory, or purchasing software systems
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple purchasing workflows simultaneously
- Strong communication and vendor management skills
Skills
- Ecommerce or multi-channel sales experience
- Experience with Amazon, Walmart Marketplace, Shopify, or other seller platforms
- Knowledge of forecasting and replenishment planning
- Familiarity with barcode or warehouse management systems
- Data analysis and reporting skills
