Purchasing HVAC/Refrigeration Parts and Equipment

Job DescriptionJob Description

Candidate will be required to manage the daily operation of the parts Department which will include purchasing material and maintaining inventory levels to ensure that the Service Department can complete their work in a timely manner without delay.  In addition, Candidate will be required to work with other staff including Customer Service Coordinators, Field Technicians and the Service Manager in performing day to day operations in a busy fast paced and busy environment.  Prior knowledge of material and parts related to HVAC and Mechanical is a plus, but not required.  Candidate must possess a systems and process background.  We will train the right candidate.  This position will require the following skills and traits:

Responsibilities to include, but are not limited to (Essential Functions):

·         Fulfill material requirements quickly and accurately

·         Source replacement parts as required

·         Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, reliability, production and distribution capabilities, and the supplier’s reputation and history

·         Purchase order creation

·         Purchase order management

·         Receive material deliveries

·         Monitor stock inventory levels

·         Reorder material for stock
