Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled 2nd Shift Pump/Turbine Mechanic to join our team and play a key role in maintaining and repairing rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors, turbines, and other machinery critical to industrial operations. The hours for this 2nd shift hours are from 2:30pm-11:00pm. The ideal candidate will have at least 3–5 years of experience or more, a strong mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to precision and quality.
Responsibilities:
- Perform disassembly, inspection, repair, and reassembly of rotating equipment, adhering to company standards and procedures.
- Diagnose mechanical issues, conduct troubleshooting, and recommend effective solutions.
- Conduct precision alignment of equipment using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to ensure repairs meet client specifications and timelines.
- Use technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics to execute maintenance and repair tasks accurately.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Document work performed, including detailed reports on findings, repairs, and recommendations.
- Stay current with industry advancements and best practices for rotating equipment maintenance.
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in rotating equipment maintenance and repair.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical components.
- Knowledge of precision alignment techniques (e.g., laser alignment) and vibration analysis is a plus.
- Familiarity with industrial tools, machinery, and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, including blueprints and manuals.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in mechanics or a related field are a plus.
