Job Description
MPI are looking for PERMANENT Pump Service & Installation Engineers, for our client based in London\n\nLocation\n\nIdeally London, but will consider Kent, Surrey, Southampton, Reading, Oxford etc.\n\nHours Typically, start at 8 and finish at 4:30 however this is work dependent anything over 9 hours a day is paid at over time rates\n\nBenefits\n\n * Discretionary bonus scheme (8%)\n\n * 25 days holiday\n\n * Life assurance\n\n * Healthcare cash plan\n\n * 8% bonus (if goals are achieved)\n\n * Overtime, average per engineer at least £5000.00/year.\n\n * £50 per night staying away allowance – if this is needed\n\n * BUPA (Healthcare) after 3 months.\n\n * Use of company vehicle out of hours.\n\nLine Manager: Service Office Manager\n\nDirect Reports: N/A\n\nAbout the role\n\nIn your role as Service and Installation Engineer you will provide all aspects of on-site servicing, repairs and installation works covering domestic and commercial contracts throughout the UK. On call duty and standby may be required on a rotary basis to allow for 24/7 service cover.\n\nIn this role your key responsibilities will include:\n\nUnderstand and adhere to all aspects of Health and Safety, Risk Assessments and Method Statements\n\nMaintaining accurate data using a mobile device (customer, asset & contract information)\n\nCarrying out site surveys and providing relevant information to the office\n\nActively be aware of opportunities to promote Client’s Services\n\nPerform Servicing and Commissioning of pumps and pressurised systems\n\nPerform advanced fault finding and repairs of pumps and pressurised systems\n\nLead and assist with on-site pre – installation surveys and on-site installation of pumps and pressurised systems\n\nComplete and submit all required paperwork\n\nCommunicate with the customer to ensure satisfaction and implement any necessary\n\nProvide accurate to the relevant department or Manager\n\nProvide training and guidance to colleagues\n\nEssential qualifications, experience and skills required:\n\nServicing and Commissioning of pumps and pressurised systems\n\nAdvanced fault finding and minor repairs of pumps and pressurised systems\n\nInstallations of pumps and pressurised systems\n\nKnowledge of pumps and pressurised systems\n\nUK Driving Licence\n\nOrganised and self-motivated\n\nAttention to detail\n\nCustomer focused\n\nA pleasant and friendly ‘can do’ attitude\n\nHealth and Safety training required for the role\n\nGood time keeping\n\nBe flexible and adaptable\n\nKnowledge and skills to develop:\n\nFurther Health and Safety training required for the role\n\nFurther product training as required
