MINIMUM 6 MONTHS OF RECENT EXPERIENCE WORKING IN A HEAVY LIFTING ENVIRONMENT

Connect Staffing Incis currently hiring general labor candidates to fill a Pulper Assistant position in Fontana, CA for a roofing manufacturing company.

This position requires the flexibility to work both 1st and 3rd Shift.

12-hour shifts, rotating 4 days on, 4 days off – days vary each week. Alternating start times – 7am-7pm for one month followed by 7pm-7am for the next.

Requirements for the Pulper Assistant:

• 6 Months of recent work experience in a heavy lifting role
• Comfortable working in an outside environment
• Must have related work experience such as general labor, lumber yard, construction, demolition etc.
• Able to safely lift up to 50lbs throughout the day
• Knowledge of basic mechanical functions such as pumps, valves, & motors
• Must be able to stand long periods of time
• Prior experience in roles such as: Pulp Machine Operator, Paper Mill Worker, Production Helper, Machine Operator Assistant, Recycling Plant Worker is a plus!

Responsibilities for the Pulper Assistant:

• Maintain the raw materials in good condition ready to be used
• Keep the yard, Pulper area, and loading equipment clean
• Feed with materials according with the recipe, as per Pulper Operator request
• Help on mucking and skimming activities
• Ability to use fork and shovel to throw debris out of Pulper pit
• Store empty pallets
• Ensuring procedures of unloading raw materials are being followed and report any unusual aspects of improper handling to the Pulper Operator or Machine Tender
