Public Relations Officer (Pipeline Construction / Project Meetings / West)

• Salary Range: $3000 - $4500

• Working hours: 8am – 5pm (Monday – Friday), 8am – 12pm (Saturday)

Job Scope

Handle, communicate, and resolve conflicts, feedback, and complaints related to ongoing projects.

Work closely with contractors to address and resolve complaints arising from construction activities in a timely and professional manner.

Participate in project meetings, take accurate minutes, and ensure that any public relations concerns are effectively communicated.

Maintain records of all public relations-related cases, communications, and correspondences related to projects.

Develop and implement public relations strategies to enhance the company’s reputation and maintain positive relationships with external stakeholders.

Coordinate and manage media relations, ensuring the company’s messaging is consistent across all channels.

Design and create media materials, including press releases, brochures, and digital content to support communication efforts.

Monitor media coverage, industry trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for proactive public relations efforts.

Provide crisis communication support when required, addressing negative publicity or issues promptly and professionally.

Support other teams, such as marketing and social media, to align public relations activities with broader company initiatives.

Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by senior management or project teams.

Requirement

Diploma / Degree in Public Relations, Communications, Media, or equivalent

5 - 7 years of relevant working experience
