The Public Improvement Project Manager will:\n

    \n
  • Manage the planning and execution of public improvement and infrastructure projects.\n
      \n
    • Public road extensions and widenings
    • \n

    • Traffic Signals
    • \n

    • Railroad crossings
    • \n

    • Bridges/overpasses/pedestrian bridges (less important, but would be a bonus)
    • \n

    • Regional drainage/stormwater improvements
    • \n

    • Wet and dry utility extensions/upgrades
    • \n

    • Creek re-routing/improvements (or something similar that would require a CLOMR from FEMA)
    • \n

    \n

  • \n

  • Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.
  • \n

  • Monitor budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure project efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • \n

  • Review and approve project designs, plans, and specifications to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • \n

  • Conduct regular site visits to oversee progress and address any challenges or delays.
  • \n

  • Prepare and present status reports to stakeholders and management.
  • \n

  • Ensure all safety protocols and standards are adhered to on project sites.
  • \n

  • Identify and mitigate risks to maintain project timelines and quality.
  • \n

A successful Public Improvement Project Manager should have:\n

  • Experience working with local, state, federal, municipal, or metro district clients.
  • \n

  • A strong understanding of construction management principles and practices.
  • \n

  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • \n

  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to construction and public improvements.
  • \n

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage teams and liaise with stakeholders.
  • \n

  • A track record of successfully delivering infrastructure or public improvement projects.
  • \n
