About the Role:
HECO PSG is seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a PSG Apprentice (Service Technician). This role provides hands-on support for a variety of predictive maintenance services, both in the field and in the office.

The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working in diverse industrial environments and is eager to learn and grow within a dynamic team. You must be comfortable with occasional overnight travel and capable of performing physically demanding tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support predictive maintenance services on-site and remotely.
  • Perform physical tasks such as carrying equipment, climbing ladders, and walking in industrial environments.
  • Operate/use tools and other diagnostic equipment.
  • Assist in analyzing and documenting field data.
  • Perform office-based tasks including data processing, system documentation using computer software, and report writing.

Qualifications:

  • Willingness and ability to travel (travel ~35-65%), including overnight trips.
  • Physical ability to work in industrial environments (lifting up to ~50 lbs).
  • Basic mechanical or electrical aptitude is .
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Comfortable using computers and learning new software tools.
