Property Maintenance Technician - Hiring Bonus Available

Core Communities & Investments would like to announce the opening of our Service Technician / Maintenance positions within the Utah County area. This is a full-time, permanent position with a local, stable property management company. We’re looking for a responsible, hardworking person who values being an integral part of a well-run team in this field.

Responsibilities include daily upkeep and repair of the property. Service techs are also responsible for the turnover of vacant apartments for occupancy. Handling repairs in general troubleshooting, plumbing, electrical, drywall, carpentry, HVAC and mechanical areas are part of daily duties. Service technicians must adhere to a professional set of policies, procedures, rules and conduct at all times. Must be available for emergency maintenance call outs including snow removal.

Qualifications include at least 5 years’ experience in apartment maintenance; strong working knowledge of general troubleshooting, plumbing, electrical, drywall, carpentry, HVAC and mechanical areas; excellent verbal and written communication skills. Professional certifications are but not required, i.e., HVAC, CPO, etc. Must have VALID UTAH DRIVERS LICENSE, truck and your own tools.

Starting wage depending on experience, typically $25 and up per hour. Full time position with benefits including vacation, personal time off, health, dental, vision insurance, holidays and growth opportunities.
