Property Maintenance Technician
Pay: $17 - $25/hr
Overview:
We're seeking a dependable and skilled Property Maintenance Technician. This position is responsible for maintaining the appearance, functionality, and safety of residential and/or commercial properties through preventive maintenance, repairs, and upkeep. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, responds quickly to maintenance requests, and ensures our properties remain in top condition for , tenants, or guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.
- Conduct regular property inspections to identify issues and perform preventive maintenance.
- Respond promptly to maintenance work orders and emergencies.
- Maintain landscaping, grounds, and common areas as needed (mowing, trimming, snow removal, debris cleanup).
- Paint, patch, and perform minor drywall repairs to keep properties looking their best.
- Troubleshoot and repair appliances, fixtures, doors, locks, and windows.
- Ensure tools, equipment, and maintenance areas are organized and properly maintained.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or large projects.
- Follow safety guidelines and building codes to maintain a secure environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-3 years of experience in property or facilities maintenance .
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor in various weather conditions.
