Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled, experienced (10+ years) and dedicated Building and Property Maintenance professional to join our team. Tired of working nights and weekends? Ready to wrap up your work day at a decent time? Look no further. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the functionality and appearance of property and home, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for all occupants. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Pay will be commensurate with experience. Occasional holiday and rare weekend work. Candidate must live within 30 minutes of property.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on building systems including electrical(3-phase), plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems(chilled water systems, hydronic loops, water source heat pumps)
  • Conduct repairs and troubleshooting on various equipment and fixtures as needed.
  • Perform maintenance projects such as plaster/drywall repair.
  • Execute residential painting tasks to maintain the aesthetic quality of the building interiors and exteriors.
  • Read and interpret schematics to effectively address maintenance issues.
  • Operate tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.

Experience

  • Proficiency in English is required for effective communication within the team and with principals.
  • Commercial maintenance experience strongly sought.
  • Experience in electrical work(3-phase), including knowledge of wiring, circuits, and safety protocols is essential.
  • Familiarity with welding techniques is a plus for performing structural repairs as needed.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose issues using various tools and equipment.
  • Previous experience in residential/commercial painting is advantageous for maintaining property aesthetics.
