With a long-standing presence in the UK and over 25 years of experience worldwide, our client designs, manufactures, installs, and maintains cutting-edge onshore wind turbine systems.\n\nWe are recruiting for a Projects HSE Manager to support the safe delivery of wind turbine installation and construction projects across Great Britain-from initial tender through to service handover.\n\nIf you're currently operating at a senior level within HSE in the onshore wind or construction sector, and you're ready to take on a pivotal role in one of the world's leading wind energy companies, we want to hear from you. \n\nResponsibilities and duties\n\nReporting to the Head of HSE, you will:\n\nSupport the safe planning and delivery of onshore wind installation projects, ensuring HSE readiness across all project phases.\nMonitor compliance with CDM Regulations and engage with Principal Contractors to ensure alignment.\nManage and implement the HSE Assurance Plan, including audits, inspections, and contractor assessments.\nOversee the development of project-specific HSE documentation and identify and mitigate project risks.\nAct as the focal point for external Health & Safety Officers (HSOs), including induction, alignment, and performance monitoring.\nLead or support incident investigations and inspections, ensuring corrective actions are taken.\nSupport project tendering, contract review, and technical working groups to ensure legal HSE compliance.\nDeliver internal and external HSE training, communications, and campaign support.\nMaintain HSE reporting, including KPIs, legal registers, and compliance updates\n Professional qualifications\n\nWe are looking for someone with the following:\n\nExtensive HSE experience in the onshore wind or construction sector, supporting multiple projects.\nNEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety (or equivalent).\nIn-depth knowledge and practical application of CDM Regulations.\nExperience leading incident investigations - TOPSET certification desirable.\nInternal and external audit experience (qualifications ).\nGWO and RUK Medical certifications and the ability to climb turbines.\nWillingness to travel across GB and occasionally to Europe\n Personal skills\n\nWe are looking for someone with the following:\n\nA confident communicator and strong collaborator across all levels of a business.\nStructured, methodical, and detail-oriented.\nAble to manage time and workload independently, with excellent organisational skills\nCapable of identifying issues and proactively implementing solutions.\nProfessional, discreet, and able to maintain strict confidentiality.\n Salary and benefits of the Projects HSE Manager role \n\nSalary Circa £60,000\nPrivate Medical Insurance\nPension Scheme\nCycle to work Scheme \n\nINDREN\n\nAstute People are acting as an employment agency in relation to this vacancy.
