Projects E&I Design Engineer in WA3, Risley, Warrington

OLG Recruitment are currently looking for a Projects E&I Design Engineer for our client located in Warrington. This is a contract position for a minimum of 10 months. This role has been assessed as inside IR35, PAYE only. You will be required on site 3 days per week and 2 days from home.

Aim:

To work within the Projects E&I design team delivering, supporting others delivering and checking design packages to meet safety, functional and business needs.

Essential:

* Academic Qualification: HNC

* Professional Qualification: Incorporated Engineer

* Security Clearance: SC

* Hours: 37 hours over 4½ days a week

* Location: Working 3 days a week minimum at Hinton House, Warrington, Cheshire

Experience:

* Minimum 3 years successfully delivering as an Electrical Design Engineer on external multidiscipline projects, from concept design through to handover, with a working knowledge of the appropriate Engineering Standards governing the following works:

* Electrical Supply Infrastructure: Small power, lighting and earthing

* Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to convey information to other team members/disciplines

* Providing support to Construction

* Providing support to Commissioning

* Willingness to support early career engineers

Desirable Experience:

Minimum 5 years successfully delivering as an E&I Design Engineer on external and/or SL multidiscipline projects, from concept design through to handover, with a working understanding of the appropriate Engineering Standards governing the following works:

* Electrical Supply Infrastructure: Small power, lighting and earthing

* Radiometric & Special Instruments

* Safety Systems
