Job Description
Shift:
This site will need coverage Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM with 2 staff members covering shifts, (Weekends, Holidays, Nights may be expected in on call format)

Pace is seeking a Project Scientist with a background in Chemistry or Biochemistry to support laboratory services. This role involves applying technical expertise to laboratory testing, equipment, and procedures, while also administering related programs and policies. experience with ICP-MS.
This position is a schedule that requires on-call responsibilities at any time covering regular workdays, weekend days and holidays. staggered schedule will be shared by 2 Project Scientists from 7am-7pm Monday to Sunday.
Compensation: $26.00 per hour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide scientific analysis and support for remote lab operations.
- Administer and manage technical programs and projects.
- Apply knowledge of chemistry/biochemistry to resolve operational issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective project execution.
- Communicate with staff and clients to maintain safe and efficient operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical operations or equivalent education/experience.
- experience with ICP-MS analyzation .
Knowledge & Skills:
- Strong understanding of chemistry/biochemistry principles and lab practices.
- Familiarity with applicable laws, codes, and regulations.
- Experience with lab equipment, testing tools, and calibration.
- Proficient in computer systems related to lab operations.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and project management skills.
- Ability to prepare reports and present findings effectively.
