Job DescriptionProject Safety Engineer - Milton Keynes / Market Harborough / Kettering (Travel Required)People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Project Safety Engineer to join our well-established client based in Milton Keynes / Market Harborough / Kettering .This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on individual with experience within construction, warehouse or impact protection environments to join a growing business delivering installation and maintenance projects across the UK.Working alongside the Project Safety Manager, you will coordinate installation teams, ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently, and maintain excellent standards of quality, safety and customer service.This role involves regular nationwide travel and working away from home and will suit applicants who have experience working as an Installation Engineer , Project Engineer or Site Engineer.Rates of Pay:£27,000 - £30,000 per annum + Accommodation & Stop-Out AllowanceShift Pattern:Full TimePermanentMonday to Friday 9am - 5pm with some overnight stays requiredBenefits:Your benefits as a Project Safety Engineer are:Competitive salary of £27,000 - £30,000Accommodation provided when working awayStop-out allowanceCompany vehicle, tools and PPE providedOngoing training and development opportunitiesOpportunity to work on projects across the UKSupportive and growing business with career progression opportunities (where applicable)Day-to-Day Duties:Your duties as a Project Safety Engineer are:Support the Project Safety Manager with the coordination of installation and maintenance projectsSupervise subcontract installation teams, allocating work according to skill levelsEnsure all work is completed safely, following RAMS, health & safety procedures and PPE requirementsCarry out on-site quality inspections and provide coaching and support to installersManage on-site stock, materials and equipmentComplete stock checks and maintain accurate project documentation using FieldwireLiaise with customers and internal teams to ensure projects are completed on time and to the required standardReport site issues, customer concerns and any changes to working methodsMaintain company vehicles, tools and equipmentDeliver an excellent customer experience throughout each projectEssential Skills:To be successful as a Project Safety Engineer , you will need:Full UK Driving LicenceCSCS CardCITB Health, Safety & Awareness qualificationFLT Reach and Counterbalance licencesExperience within the impact protection, construction or warehouse environmentGood understanding of health & safety legislation, risk assessments and method statementsStrong planning and organisational skillsExcellent communication and team leadership abilitiesAble to work independently and as part of a teamWillingness to travel nationwide and stay away from home when requiredPrevious experience coordinating installation teamsExperience delivering on-site training or coachingKnowledge of installation techniques and construction methodsStrong customer service skillsAbility to prioritise workloads and meet project deadlinesProactive, hands-on approach with a positive, can-do attitudeTraining:Industry-related training providedOngoing support throughoutApply:If you are interested in this role, please apply today and a member of our recruitment team will be in touch.People Solutions do not charge candidates any fees or request deposits at any stage of the recruitment processTPBN1_UKTJ
