Project Representative/Construction Observer

Engineered Concepts is seeking an experienced Construction Observer.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Must be able to work with contractor personnel and various stakeholders to assure work conforms to project plans, specs and approved submittals.

· Attend various meetings as needed related to assigned construction projects.

· Responsible for job specific quality system tasks as defined in the project manual.

· Assist with the preparation of written reports and documentation. Construction reports, pictures and logs are written and filed daily.

· Oversee materials inspection and acceptance prior to installation.

· Assist with the coordination of required project acceptance testing.

· Point out potential problems to the contractor to keep engineer informed of project progress.

· Oversee specific installation tasks and field measurements.

· Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.

· Must comply with company mandated safety policies.

· Must have a fundamental understanding of construction.

· Must be able to read plans and have a good understanding of project specifications.

· Perform other duties as may be required.

Must have valid drivers license and reliable transportation.

OSHA-10 & Confined Space Required

Salary Range - $30.00 - $40.00 per hour plus mileage or per diem
