Description:
Role objective / Success criteria / KPI:
Ensure a fit for use quality management system is embedded throughout the Asset Project
leveraging the gate review processes and risk management as an integral part of managing
quality proactively across the asset lifecycle.
The Project Quality Manager champions a culture of quality excellence (systems,
processes, behaviours, and accountability) through ensuring project personnel and
stakeholders are educated on the relevant processes and held accountable to fulfil them.
Responsibilities:
Ensure the Project Quality Management Framework is embedded within
projects
Support to ensure adequate and fit for purpose holistic Quality Management System
is established, developed, maintained and implemented leveraging a risk-based
approach. This includes:
o Project Quality Plans, Quality Activity Plans and Quality Activity Schedules
as key governing documents.
o NCRs, Lessons Learned (LL), internal auditing within the project, and Total
Cost of Quality (TCoQ) as key focus areas.
Ensure that quality process ownership, accountability, communication and culture is
embedded throughout the project and packages with quality awareness and focus
from leaders, personnel, contractors and stakeholders. Escalate issues to QHSE
Director if needed.
Work in collaboration with QHSE Director to drive implementation of the Quality
elements of QHSE strategy in the project.
Integrate with project and package leadership, and other interfaces as necessary, in
order to provide support, advice and guidance to reduce project quality risks to as
low as reasonably practicable.
Teach and coach project personnel the skills, competence and awareness needed
to appropriately support and champion quality within the project/package.
Ensure adequate quality requirements are identified and communicated to relevant
stakeholders throughout the lifecycle of the project
Monitor, report and assess effectiveness of quality management in the Asset Project
via specific KPIs within the project for quality performance against target

Enforce a culture of continual quality improvement leveraging lessons learned and
best practices.
Ensure transfer process between phases (e.g. Development to Construction,
Construction to Generation and OFTO or similar) is effective from a quality point of
view, in alignment with Quality Checkpoints
Align and collaborate with Supplier Quality Management regarding supplier
performance and requirements
Align and collaborate with QHSE Assurance regarding project quality audits.
Tasks:
Support Offshore EPC projects by continuously developing, and implementing, and
maintaining the quality management system, policies, and procedures.
Adhere to all internal policies, processes and procedures with an especially close
focus on those relating to quality.
Ensure Project Quality Plan is developed and maintained.
Ensure Quality Activity Plans, and Quality Activity Schedules are developed and
maintained by each package.
Use a risk-based approach to identify, manage, and reduce quality risks within the
project, ensuring they are captured in the approved risk management system.
Support Quality Checkpoint process and Stage Gate process in accordance with
Project & Operating Model guidelines
Drive implementation of NCR, LL, internal project auditing, and TCoQ processes, as
well as continual improvement activities within the project.
Review Asset Project NCRs with each package to ensure they are entered into
the system in a timely way, and that corrective actions implemented address root
cause.
Develop LL schedule aligned with project milestones. Facilitate LL sessions on
schedule aligned with process requirements.
Develop internal audit schedule for Asset Project and complete internal audits in
accordance with that schedule.
Support TCoQ process and reporting (e.g. disposition CRs and VOs) in accordance
with scheduled reporting deadlines.
Ensure consistent and standardized use of the system for registration of quality cases.
Plan, implement and maintain internal quality cultural initiatives to achieve
accountability in the projects.
Monitor and report on performance to KPIs including trend analysis.
Establish regular quality touchpoint meetings with key project stakeholders
(recommended monthly) to review level of implementation and assess effectiveness
of quality management in project.
Escalate any quality issues that are not adequately addressed in a timely way to the
QHSE Director and Head of OF Development & EPC.
Provide feedback to Supplier Quality Management in relation to clarity of ERQM
content, and escalate supplier issues where necessary to Supplier Quality Manager
and/or Category Manager.

Support QHSE Assurance with planning and execution of project quality audits, and
support projects to close out findings.
Deliverables:
Documented Project Quality Plan
Evidence of communication of Project Quality Plan
Evidence of review and maintenance (update) of Quality Activity Plan and Quality
Activity schedules for each package
Quality risks identified and logged in relevant risk management system
Evidence of compliance to Quality Checkpoint process (e.g. completed checklists
and templates)
Evidence of RCA investigations of NCRs
Internal Quality Audit schedule and records
Lessons Learned schedule and records
Registrations in the system for:
o Nonconformities within packages and overall project
o Lessons Learned sessions
o Improvement proposals from LL sessions
o Internal quality audits
o Findings from internal quality audits
Updated log of dispositioned CRs and VOs to support TCoQ reporting
Evidence of delivery of quality training for project and package personnel
Evidence of delivery of quality campaigns to project and package personnel
Evidence of regular quality touchpoint meetings within project.
Decision authority / Responsibility:
If project quality is not adequately addressed or presents excessive risk, report and
escalate to relevant parties (depending on nature of issue), including QHSE Director
and Head of Quality for OF Dev & EPC.
Qualification / Requirements:
5+ years' experience in Quality
A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Quality, Engineering, or a related
discipline is required.
Industry recognised Quality qualifications including certifications or accreditation
from organizations such as ASQ, EOQ, CQI etc. (e.g. Six Sigma Black Belt or
Master Black Belt, Certified Manager of Quality / Organizational Excellence,
Certified Quality Engineer, Certified Quality Auditor, IRCA examined lead auditor).
Have proven experience in the field of Quality Assurance, Project Quality
Management and/or Supplier Quality Management from relevant fields of industry
such as manufacturing, construction, infrastructure, offshore, renewables, energy
industries.
Experience working on major construction projects in a project matrix organisation is
a plus
Experience working in international and cross-cultural team

Have strong management skills and experience in implementing corporate Quality
systems.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to provide guidance and mentorship.
Experience in driving continuous improvement.
Effective stakeholder management skills working with multiple stakeholders.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Fluency in English Language
Additional Information
This is a Monday - Friday role - 40 hour week
Hybrid work pattern with regular visits to site and office locations in Norwich,
Grimsby and London.
Occasional visits to the head office in Copenhagen can be expected.
Expectation of approx. 25% travelling time.
