Project/Product Manager

Job Description

Our client, a team of investors and philanthropists that deploys flexible capital and pursues innovative solutions to expedite the transition of the Oceans, Food and Agriculture, and Energy sectors is seeking a Product/Project Manager to join their team!

Location: hybrid in Chicago, IL

About this role:

• Drive execution of the established roadmap, oversee ongoing projects, and collaborate with the investment team to refine and expand the roadmap
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, resource allocation, and budget
• Oversee the execution of multiple simultaneous projects from initiation to closure
• Champion and execute Agile/Scrum methodologies for project delivery by facilitating ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives
• Conduct in-depth analysis of business needs, user stories, and market trends to translate them into clear, concise, and actionable product requirements

Experience:

• 7+ years’ experience in product management, project management, or a combination of both with a strong focus on data or application development
• Experience working with a foundation, venture capital, private equity, asset management or family office or private foundation
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms - AWS/Azure/GCP
• Agile or Scrum experience
• Team player with strong communication skills
