Senior Project Planner\nLocation: Devon / Cornwall\nSalary: Competitive + Car / Car Allowance + Benefits\n\nAre you an experienced Senior Project Planner seeking a new challenge in the South West?\nRGB Recruitment are delighted to be working in partnership with a leading Civil Engineering Main Contractor who are delivering a diverse range of projects across Devon and Cornwall.\n\nAs the successful Senior Planner, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and managing project programmes to ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. You’ll work collaboratively with estimators, engineers, surveyors, and design teams to plan and monitor project progress, identify risks, and manage priorities effectively.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nDevelop and manage detailed project programmes using Asta Powerproject and Microsoft Project\nOversee logistics, allocate resources, and monitor budgets\nCoordinate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals\nAnalyse and interpret drawings and technical information to support effective planning\nLead collaborative planning sessions and reporting processes\nEnsure compliance with company standards and industry best practices\nRequirements:\n\nDegree / HNC / HND in Civil Engineering or related discipline\nProven experience in the civil engineering, highways, or earthworks sectors\nProficient with Asta Powerproject, Microsoft Project, and associated planning tools\nExperience with Primavera P6 desirable\nStrong understanding of estimating, scheduling, programming, and risk management\nExcellent communication and organisational skills\nThe Company:\nThis contractor has built an exceptional reputation across the South West, delivering complex civil engineering schemes to the highest standard.
