Job Title: Project Planner

Location: Edinburgh, (Hybrid Working)

Salary: £40,000 - £60,000p/a

Company Overview:

A leading engineering organisation with a strong presence in the construction and infrastructure sectors is looking to recruit 2 additional Project Planners. Projects range from large-scale infrastructure developments to engineering projects across renewables and defence sectors.

Job Summary:

Based in Glasgow you will be responsible for providing expert support in planning and/or cost control for our ongoing and upcoming projects. You will work closely with Project Managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure projects are completed within budget and on schedule.

Responsibilities:

· Develop and maintain project schedules using industry-standard tools and techniques.

· Monitor project progress, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.

· Collaborate with project teams to collect and analyse project data, including cost, schedule, and resource information.

· Implement project control best practices and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

· Proven experience as a Project Planner or similar role in the construction or engineering industry.

· Proficiency with project software tools such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar tools.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with complex data sets.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
