Position Overview:

An opportunity is available for an experienced Project Manager specializing in water resources engineering to lead the design and delivery of drainage and stormwater infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, proven project management skills, and a passion for developing solutions that enhance environmental and community resilience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead water resources projects including scope definition, budgeting, scheduling, staffing, and overall project delivery.

  • Prepare project proposals and manage communication with internal teams and external stakeholders.

  • Oversee and contribute to the preparation of drainage designs, stormwater models, and construction plans.

  • Review and perform analysis using tools such as Autodesk Storm Sanitary Analysis (SSA).

  • Supervise preparation of construction documents using AutoCAD and Civil3D.

  • Review and validate design calculations, technical reports, and quantity estimates.

  • Conduct site visits for inspections, data collection, and compliance monitoring.

  • Ensure all work complies with safety standards and project specifications.

  • Mentor junior staff and support team development.

  • Perform additional duties as needed in support of project success.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Environmental, or Agricultural Biological Engineering.

  • 4–8 years of experience, with a strong focus on storm sewer and drainage design.

  • Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam.

  • Eligible to sit for the Professional Engineering (PE) Exam.

  • Experience managing or coordinating multi-disciplinary project teams.

  • Ability to travel locally to project sites and comply with safety regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil3D, and Autodesk SSA.

  • Skilled in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.

  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

  • Experience with client coordination, budgeting, and technical oversight.
