We are seeking a Project Manager to lead substation design projects for high-voltage utility systems. This role involves managing all aspects of project execution, including scope, schedule, budget, quality, and client relationships. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, technical expertise in substation engineering, and experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage substation design projects from initiation through completion.
• Coordinate with engineering teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and client specifications.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff.
• Prepare and present project status reports to internal and external stakeholders.
• Support business development efforts by contributing to proposals and client presentations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in substation design and project management.
• Proven track record of managing complex utility projects.
• Strong understanding of power systems, protection and control, and physical design.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• PMP certification but not required.

• Travel may be required based on project needs.
• This is an onsite role based in Austin, TX.
