Structural Project Manager

STRUCTRUAL PROJECT MANAGER

  • Location: Spring, TX
  • Type: Direct Hire
  • Salary Range: $110,000 – $135,000
  • Work Schedule:
  • Approximately 80% in-office
  • 10–15% field/site visits
  • Projects located throughout the Houston area

Key Must-Have Requirements

1. Cast-in-Place Concrete Experience (Required)

This is the most important qualification.

Candidate must have:

  • Extensive experience with vertical cast-in-place concrete structures
  • Strong understanding of:
  • Concrete construction methods
  • Formwork systems
  • Scheduling concrete projects
  • Managing concrete crews and production

2. Relevant Project Experience

Ideal candidates have worked on:

  • Mid-rise buildings
  • Hotels
  • Office buildings
  • Medical Office Buildings (MOBs)
  • Hospital parking garages
  • Other cast-in-place concrete structures

Projects are primarily concrete-focused rather than structural steel.

3. Project Management Experience

Candidate must be capable of:

  • Building project schedules
  • Participating in estimating efforts
  • Managing projects from award through completion
  • Tracking costs and productivity
  • Managing formwork utilization
  • Coordinating manpower and equipment needs
  • Communicating with customers and internal teams

This is a true PM role, not a training position.

Manager's perspective:

Candidates need enough experience to have "tools in their toolbox" to solve problems independently.

The PM will regularly work with:

  • Structural Estimator
  • Estimating Team (6 estimators total)
  • Senior Field Leadership

Responsibilities include:

  1. Assisting in winning work
  2. Supporting project estimates
  3. Presenting project approaches to clients
  4. Developing schedules
  5. Managing execution
  6. Tracking costs and performance
  7. Maintaining customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle
