Equilibrium Engineers LLC is a small, collaborative structural engineering firm based in Beaverton, Oregon. We’re passionate about thoughtful, sustainable, and resilient design, and right now, we’re busier than ever with exciting projects across residential, commercial, civic sectors, zoological, and more.


We’re currently seeking a Project Manager. If you're an aspiring structural engineer with a passion for real-world project work and an interest in joining a supportive, tight-knit team, we’d love to hear from you.


What you’ll do

  • Manage multiple structural engineering projects from proposal through completion
  • Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for clients on assigned projects
  • Develop scopes, schedules, and proposals for small to mid-sized projects
  • Coordinate internal staff and consultants to keep work moving smoothly
  • Review drawings, calculations, and deliverables for quality and completeness
  • Track budgets, schedules, and upcoming milestones
  • Communicate early when something is drifting (surprises are not always fun)

What you won’t be expected to do

  • Carry firm-wide responsibility
  • Fix systemic problems alone
  • Work constant overtime to “keep up”

What we’re looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • PE license (Oregon, California, or Washington )
  • ~4–8 years of structural engineering experience
  • Prior experience managing projects and coordinating teams
  • Comfort communicating directly with clients and consultants
  • Organized, steady, and practical approach to work
  • Master of Science or MEng degree in Structural Engineering by not required

Candidates who exceed the requirements of this role may be considered for a higher-level position.
