Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee and track the progress of numerous construction projects. The Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring Special Inspections associated with these projects are completed on time and within scope by managing documentation, schedules, and communication across all relevant teams. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, a keen eye for detail, and strong coordination skills.
What You’ll Do
- Track Projects: Monitor status of active jobs and update milestones in project management software.
- Manage Documentation: Resolve Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and collect closeout documents (submittals, PAA plans, balancing reports).
- Coordinate Scheduling: Work with schedulers to align inspection timelines; anticipate needs and add placeholders proactively.
- Evaluate Site Progress: Visit large project sites to assess status and identify issues.
- Manage Scope Changes: Flag scope changes for potential change orders and assist estimating team.
- Lead Kickoff Meetings: Review scope, meet stakeholders, and coordinate inspection tasks.
- Customer Service: Deliver high-quality customer care with flexibility and a friendly, professional attitude in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Bring
Required:
- 3-5 years of experience in the construction industry.
- Demonstrated experience managing construction projects.
- Familiarity with special inspections is required.
- Strong organizational skills and an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills for effective coordination with internal and external teams.
- A proactive approach to identifying and solving problems.
- Proficiency using MS Products: Excel and Word

- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related degree.
- Site superintendent or Project Manager experience involving high rise commercial projects is .
- Experience with PlanGrid, Procore, or Salesforce
- OSHA 10 certification
Work Environment & Schedule
- This position is based in New York City, NY, with an Onsite schedule.
- Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm.
- Travel Requirements: travel to construction sites within the 5 boroughs of NYC as needed.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $80,000 - $95,000, based on knowledge, skills, and experience.
