A leading engineering & manufacturing company is seeking a Project Manager to take ownership of a portfolio of strategic initiatives during a period of sustained investment and operational evolution.\n\nThis position offers a high level of autonomy and influence, with regular engagement at executive level and the opportunity to contribute to long-term business direction.\n\n Key Accountabilities\n\nLead the development and implementation of our portfolio governance and delivery frameworks\nCoordinate multiple project streams, ensuring alignment with wider business objectives\nIdentify and mitigate risks, managing cross-project impacts and dependencies\nMonitor performance against key milestones and drive corrective actions where required\nPromote a strong culture of safety, compliance, and operational best practice\nSupport clear definition of project objectives, scope, and success measures\nEngage stakeholders across the organisation, providing clear and structured updates\nFacilitate the transition of completed initiatives into operational teams \n\nCandidate Profile\nDemonstrated experience delivering complex programmes in a structured environment\nStrong leadership capability with the ability to influence across multiple functions\nExperience managing high-value or technically complex initiatives\nFamiliarity with recognised project or programme management approaches\nUnderstanding of regulated or safety-critical environments\nWorking on high value projects within the company \nStrong planning, coordination, and communication skills\nFormation experience within a manufacturing/heavy engineering would be advantageous \nExperience with project planning tools and structured reporting\nRecognised Project qualification\nRecognised H&S qualification \nExperience of working within a manufacturing/heavy engineering sector would be highly advantageous What's Available\n\nCompetitive remuneration and bonus potential\nComprehensive benefits package\nOpportunity for progression into senior leadership\nInvolvement in high-impact, strategically important initiatives\nCollaborative, multi-disciplinary working environment
