Responsibilities 

Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities: 

•            Lead project planning, management, supervision, coordination, and administration of projects, including distribution, transmission, substations, peaking units, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).

•            Oversee and coordinate large, complex energy projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and best industry practices.

•            Prepare proposals, reports, schedules, and presentations for energy systems and multiple technologies, BESS, and utilities program-related projects.

•            Coordinate project execution with other engineering disciplines, consultants, clients, and stakeholders, with a focus on integrating BESS and utilities solutions.

•            Attend project design meetings with clients, technical leaders, consultants, agencies, and contractors for transmission, distribution, and energy storage systems projects.

•            Manage funds and invoicing processes, ensuring financial discipline across all project types.

•            Develop project staff by facilitating training sessions and providing constructive feedback, especially in emerging energy technologies.

•            Foster innovation and continuous improvement in project delivery, particularly in the deployment of advanced energy storage and solutions.

•            Multiple stakeholder management to ensure program advances in scope, budget, and schedule.

•            Apply deep understanding of transformational energy competing technologies, financial modeling, and legislative support policies to guide strategic decision-making.

Requirements 

Essential Skills and Experience: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• 15+ years of experience in energy project activities, with direct impact on coordinating projects and managing clients.
• Must have experience in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) projects.
• Experience managing large, complex energy projects.
• Experience in programs, projects, coordination of inspections, assessments, and recommendations oriented to the design of electrical utilities systems.
• Track record with Utilities program and large-scale projects.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Established network of industry relationships across clients, investors, and developers.
• Ability to coordinate with other disciplines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of software programs (MS Excel, Power Point, Schedule, Word, etc.)
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
