19six is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to manage projects for K-12 clients located in the Sacramento/San Jose/NorCal region.
PRIMARY ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaboratively work with the K-12 Design Studio to coordinate and manage projects throughout all project phases, pre-design through construction administration.
- Produce and comprehend architectural redlines and efficiently produce documents and revisions.
- Oversee quality control and ensure compliance with project schedule, scope and budget.
- Coordinate design consultants and oversee architectural team on assigned projects.
- Review deliverables prepared by project team before proceeding to next phase.
- Coordination of construction documents.
- Manage multiple projects, and communicate effectively with clients and staff.
- Work collaboratively and facilitate team and client meetings effectively.
DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelors Degree in Architecture required; Masters is a plus.
- 5-10 years experience in managing K-12 related projects.
- DSA submittal experience is absolutely required.
- CA Architectural license and/or LEED certification are not required, but are considered a huge plus.
- Proficiency in Revit, Acrobat, Bluebeam and Microsoft Office 365 are required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly motivated, positive and ability to problem solve.
- Proven ability to create strong client relationships.
- Dedication to continuous learning/development, and mentoring junior staff.
