About the Role
As a Project Manager, you will oversee all phases of custom awning, canopy, and tension structure projects from post-sale through completion. You'll serve as the primary liaison between our company and the customer, ensuring design intent, technical specifications, production schedules, and installation plans are executed smoothly. Success in this role means projects delivered on time, within scope, and with high customer satisfaction.
What You'll Do

Lead projects from design through installation, serving as the primary customer contact.

Conduct site surveys and field measurements to guide accurate design and installation.

Collaborate with CAD designers and shop teams to ensure production-ready solutions.

Prepare detailed production orders, bill of materials (BOMs), and purchase orders.

Oversee scheduling, procurement, and production tracking to keep jobs on schedule.

Ensure compliance with all safety protocols - zero safety incidents is our goal.

Troubleshoot fabrication or installation issues in coordination with field crews.
What We're Looking For

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Drafting, Engineering Technology, or related field .

Certifications: Project Management Certification ; OSHA 30, PROCORE (Subcontractor), and AEW/Manlift certifications required (or ability to obtain).

Experience: 2–4 years of experience in project coordination, technical design, or custom fabrication. Familiarity with construction documents, permitting, and structural components a plus.

Skills:

Strong design and technical expertise with attention to detail.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CAD experience .

Knowledge of job costing, production tracking, and procurement.

Ability to accurately field measure and assess project sites.

Strong organizational and communication skills.
