Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager Reconstruction to take full ownership of residential and commercial restoration projects in our growing Dallas market.
This is not a handoff roleyou will inspect, estimate, secure approvals, and manage projects through completion. Youll be the primary point of contact for clients and insurance carriers, ensuring every job is delivered on time, within budget, and to our quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect New Losses Perform on-site assessments for residential and commercial properties, documenting damages with photos and detailed notes.
- Define Scope & Estimate Develop the scope of work and prepare estimates using Xactimate and T&M Pro.
- Obtain Approvals Submit estimates to insurance carriers, adjusters, TPAs, or directly to customers; address revisions and secure final approval.
- Client Authorization Present approved scope and costs to the customer, address questions, and secure signed work authorizations.
- Project Management Budget, schedule, and manage all reconstruction workprimarily through subcontractors and vendorsensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality expectations.
- Closeout & Handover Complete final walk-through with client, secure sign-off, submit for invoicing, and support collections as needed.
- Stakeholder Communication Serve as the primary liaison for clients, insurance representatives, and internal teams, providing consistent updates and managing expectations.
- Compliance & Documentation Maintain detailed records, ensure code compliance, safety adherence, and proper permitting throughout the project lifecycle.
What You Bring to the Table
- Proven ability to both write and run reconstruction projects from start to finishinspection, estimating, approvals, and execution.
- 35+ years of project management experience in construction, restoration, or insurance-related reconstruction.
- Strong estimating skills with Xactimate (T&M Pro experience a plus).
- In-depth understanding of residential and commercial building practices, materials, and code requirements.
- Track record of managing subcontractors and vendors effectively.
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills, with the ability to instill trust and confidence.
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects at once.
- Valid drivers license and ability to travel locally to job sites.
