Job Description
Project Manager - Industrial Doors\n\nLocation: South of England \n\nWe are recruiting for a market leader in industrial door and loading bay sector, offering a total package of £55,000 plus car allowance or company car and a 10% performance bonus. This role provides the opportunity to manage multiple installation projects across the South of England while representing an internationally recognised organisation at the forefront of safe, secure, and innovative access solutions.\n\nRole Overview \n\nAs a Project Manager, you will act as the key point of contact for operational teams, subcontractors, and regional stakeholders. You will take full ownership of around ten installation projects at any given time, spanning major industrial, transport, power, and logistics sites.
Your responsibilities will include ensuring accurate audits, effective planning, strong commercial control, and delivering projects safely, efficiently, and profitably.\n\nKey Responsibilities \n\nManage installation projects end-to-end, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest safety standards.\nConduct thorough on-site audits to ensure compliance, quality, and accurate project reporting.\nEnsure pre-costs are commercially sound and aligned to project scope.\nCoordinate and manage subcontractors, ensuring adherence to required standards.\nOversee multiple projects at varying stages across industrial and infrastructure environments.\nImprove planning, communication, and workflow visibility throughout the project lifecycle.\nWork closely with the regional Project Coordinator to support efficient project delivery.\nMaintain strong commercial oversight and ensure profitable project outcomes.Skills & Experience \n\nProven experience delivering installation or construction projects independently.\nAbility to manage multiple ongoing projects simultaneously.\nStrong planning, scheduling, and organisational skills.\nExcellent commercial awareness and analytical capability.\nStrong communication and stakeholder management skills.\nUnderstanding of site safety, compliance, and quality standards.\nExperience within mechanical, construction, industrial doors, lifts, or related sectors is desirable.\nSMSTS/SSSTS or PRINCE2/PMP is beneficial but not essential. \n\nTo Apply \n\nIf you are looking for a hands-on role with an industry leader and want to take the next step in your project management career, please apply now!\n\nPlease note, if your application is suitable, one of our consultants will call you within 5 working days.
